Run your school's celebration

The Celebration is a very important aspect of the whole project. We've found that it really helps to act as a goal for students to aim for.

Recognising achievement

It's also a great way for everyone, the young people themselves, staff and peers as well as parents to recognise the achievements of each member of the group, however small. A good Celebration will be a great memory and will stick in the minds of people for some time, maybe forever!

Ways to celebrate

Some schools choose to use the Celebration as an event at which to reward students publicly, for example in front of a year group or perhaps the whole school. Others have used the Celebration as a chance for students to show off the new skills they have achieved to parents or staff.

It's good to plan what kind of Celebration you and the students want right from the beginning of the project, that way you all have something to keep in mind and aim for as you go through your project.

Creating your case study and looking forward to next year

During the planning, tracking and reporting phases, you will be monitoring you project online and all the while be drawing up an invaluable case study of your own particular Sky Living for Sport project. This case study will show the impact the project is having within the school.
