Netherhall School Sports Partnership win best in class award and you could win too!

Huge congratulations goes out to Netherhall School Sport Partnership (SSP), winners of this year's Sky Sports Living for Sport Award, which was presented at the Youth Sport Trust School Sport Partnership Conference, held in Telford on 14 - 15 October 2009.

The award was presented to the SSP that has engaged the most secondary schools within the partnership, using Sky Sports Living for Sport to meet the needs of their young people.

Speaking after picking up their award from Sky Sports Living for Sport Ambassador, Darren Campbell, and Jack Eatherley, Sky's Community Investment Manager, Linda Borthwick, Partnership Development Manager, Netherhall SSP, Cumbria, said: "A number of schools across the partnership are working extremely hard with some of our young people, so this award is a fantastic acknowledgement of their hard work and dedication."

She continued: "The children have really risen to the occasion with the activities set up and they have been absolutely brilliant in this project and gained a great deal out of it. They will be extremely proud when I take this back and share it with the schools involved."

Their prize will be a visit from Darren Campbell.
