Steve Brown

-Wheelchair Rugby-

Steve Brown is a wheelchair rugby player determined to be part of the squad playing at the London Paralympics in 2012. Steve has already represented Great Britain in numerous international competitions and the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby team are current European champions and came 4th in the 2008 Paralympics.

One of Steve's proudest moments has to be leading the Olympic and Paralympic parade through London following the success of Team GB in Beijing 2008.

Growing up as an average student that loved sport he faced all the usual problems childhood and adolescence had to offer. Then, at the age of 24, Steve was involved in an accident that turned his world upside down and made him think about what is really important in life. His spinal cord injury changed his life forever leaving him unable to walk but with a hunger to achieve bigger than ever.
