Throughout Molly’s life she has found that sport and her involvement with camogie has helped her overcome many obstacles in everyday life; from injuries to personal loss and while looking for employment. Sport has opened so many avenues for Molly that she is now the Sports Development Officer in GMIT College, Galway.

Molly is still a member of the Galway Senior camogie panel while also preparing for a senior championship with her club, Eyrecourt.

Commenting on her role with Sky Sports Living for Sport, she said: “I feel privileged to have had the successes I have had in sport and I want to be able to use my experiences and the challenges I have overcome to give something back.

“I firmly believe that sport can play a huge part in helping students. It has created the pathway for my life and I hope I am able to inspire students to give sport the chance to do the same for them”

“From sharing my story and experiences I would like to give young people the reassurance and belief that no matter what obstacles they face in life they should always have the confidence in themselves to overcome them and to never to give up on their dreams.”
